“ahead of it's time”
Vacom's VCD2000 series system employs technology of sophistication that's “ahead of it's time” to provide solutions that industry can use to solve their waste stream problems now. The VCD2000 series system concentrates oil or other components of your waste stream for recovery and it also concentrates contaminates from your waste stream by vaporizing and recondensing the clean water portion of the stream. While the technology behind the VCD2000 series system remains constant, each system is custom-designed to handle the specific treatment problems raised by each customer's application. No matter how complex the problem, Vacom offers solutions that are truly cost-effective. Typical energy operating costs are $.01-.015/feed gallon. If there is recovery value in the components of the waste stream, system payback could be a matter of months. Our clients, in consultation with Vacom, provide input as the system is developed to assure that only those elements needed are incorporated into the system. Materials construction of the VCD2000 series system will use components required for the application such as carbon and stainless steel, titanium, high nickel alloys, fiberglass and various elastomers. Regardless of the complexity of the system, paybacks are fast. When compliance is mandated, the VCD2000 series system will get the job done. Those kinds of results make it easy to justify your capital investment.
Of particular note is the Vacom system capability to concentrate oils. When oils exist in a complex waste stream, the concentrated oil fraction will have waste fuel value thus eliminating disposal of hazardous residuals associated with conventional physical/chemical systems.
The Vacom system can also concentrate salts past the point of saturation creating a truly cost effective packaged crystallizer.
